Casa de Campo has recently announced its brand new spa and wellness center which opened to guests on June 1 2023, in a move that will launch the resort to the forefront of the region’s wellbeing tourism scene.
Already one of the premier spots across the Caribbean for those seeking luxury and uncompromising privacy, the Dominican Republic-located Casa de Campo has enlisted Irene Campaña to oversee the development and roll out. Campaña has been within the wellness industry for 26 years and will be joining the resort from another Central American luxury hotel, the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Mexico, where she was spa director for three years.
“We are pleased to welcome Irene Campaña to our team as our new SPA & Wellness Director,” said Andres Pichardo Rosenberg, president of Casa de Campo Resort and Villas.
“Irene has an extensive background working with some of the best luxury, five-star resorts and spas in the world and will help us continue to take Casa de Campo to new heights.”
The 18,000-sq-ft spa and wellness center will elevate Casa de Campo’s offerings to an international tier of high-end resorts responding to the growing popularity of wellness travel.
Guests can look forward to a state-of-the-art hydrothermal circuit which includes a steam room, a sauna, a vitality pool, an outdoors pool and Laconium loungers.
With 12 treatment rooms in total, the spa and wellness center at the historic vacation resort and villas collection will offer a wide range of experiences and therapies, including a hydrafacial, a triple detox therapy using MLX i3Dome technology, and an acoustic and dynamic stimulation.
“The addition of the SPA at Casa de Campo will provide our guests and homeowners alike with one-of-a-kind health and wellness experiences and a true destination spa facility for all to enjoy,” Rosenberg concluded.
