Templeton Garden, a Miiro hotel located in Earl’s Court in London, has recently opened its doors.
The opening marks the lifestyle brand’s debut in the UK, and comes as part of its plans to expand in Europe which it first announced in 2023
Also part of the plans was Le Grand Hôtel Cayré in Paris, which opened last summer.
Templeton Garden has 156 rooms and suites, split over eight categories. At the top of the range is the Templeton Garden Suite category, which offers a private garden or direct access to the hotel’s main garden.
The hotel also has a modern British restaurant, Pippin, led by chef Liam Fauchard-Newman – complete with indoor and outdoor seating. Dishes use local produce as well as ingredients foraged from the hotel’s garden.
Sprout, the hotel’s bar, also incorporates herbs from the garden and seasonal ingredients into its drinks, which are inspired by the changing British seasons.
The hotel has its own café-deli too with an entrance onto the street, offering pastries, bread and coffee at a to-go counter.
Other facilities include a library, 24-hour gym, flexible lobby space for working or socialising and a Refresh Room – a space with a shower, toiletries and changing area for guests to use before check-in or after check-out.
As for design, the hotel blends contemporary pieces with “English elegance”. Miiro worked with Thurstan design studio to complete the hotel’s interiors, as well as Holland Harvey architects which also designed the new café at the Tate Modern.
