Raffles Hotels & Resorts Debuts on Jeddah Corniche

Raffles Jeddah is officially opening in the coming week, along Saudi Arabia’s historic Corniche waterfront. The luxury property from Raffles Hotels & Resorts will open for bookings starting 25 May, offering direct views of the Red Sea. The property will be the brand’s second establishment in the Kingdom, following Raffles Makkah Palace.Located 25 minutes from King Abdulaziz International Airport, the hotel is located close to Jeddah’s primary commercial areas and local landmarks, including the Red Sea Mall, Boulevard Jeddah, Fakih Aquarium, and Al Shalal Theme Park.

Modern Design, Historic Inspiration

The property’s architecture integrates modern design with traditional Hejazi elements, incorporating details such as carved wood latticework and mashrabiya screens. Designer Robert Angell oversaw the guestrooms, suites, and public spaces, while Tristan Du Plessis designed the wellness and spa facilities. Inside, the lobby features sculptural columns and lace-like wall motifs inspired by the Al-Balad historic district, alongside a curated collection of contemporary artworks from Saudi and Middle Eastern artists.

Raffles Jeddah has 182 keys in sizes starting from approximately 66 sqm, consisting of 142 guestrooms and 40 suites. The property also features 120 on-site branded residences. All hotel guests will receive access to the brand’s traditional personalised butler service.

At the time of launch, the hotel will have two active dining venues: Surl’O is a progressive all-day brasserie facing the sea that offers a mix of Eastern and Western sharing dishes. Meanwhile, Atorie Lounge & Patisserie serves French pastries, Japanese-influenced items, and an afternoon tea service, before transitioning into a lounge area in the evenings offering mocktails and desserts. A third Mediterranean-inspired signature restaurant concept is scheduled to open at a later date.

A New Hub for Wellness and Business

For wellness, the dedicated Raffles Spa and Wellness centre will include separate facilities for men and women, featuring dedicated treatment rooms, fitness centres, swimming pools, and Moroccan hammams, alongside a private treatment suite for couples.

The property’s event space includes six meeting rooms, a business centre, a VIP lounge, and pre-function spaces. It also features the Pearl and Crystal Ballrooms, which are suspended above the plaza and fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city.
