When is the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019?
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019 starts TODAY, August 1, and runs through to the end of the month.
The festival celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2017.
The programme includes a wide variety of acts from cabaret and circus performers to music and comedy.
There will also be over 250 street performances each day of the festival with buskers, living statues and more.
How can I get tickets for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019?
Tickets can only be bought for each show via the Fringe box office either in person, over the phone or online.

Tickets can also be bought at the Fringe Box Office situated on Old Assembly Close, High Street, EH1 1QS.
Prices vary for each show and a booking fee of 80p is added to each ticket, up to a maximum of £4.80.
What is the weather forecast?
According to the Met Office, the weather in Edinburgh will be warm and calm for the next couple of days, before it starts raining next week.
Today will see highs of 19C with sunshine and no rain.
Tomorrow you can expect cloudy skies and highs of 20C, but again no rain.
Sunday however brings a yellow thunderstorm warning and with it, heavy rain and highs of 20C.
