Condé Nast Traveller is giving away a one-night stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London, the elegant sky-high spot set in one of the city’s most recognisable buildings.
The London hotel mainstay is turning five this month and to celebrate will host one lucky winner and their guest in a Premier Shard room on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Rooms come complete with incredible floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the city skyline, as well as chilled-out, Asian-inspired interiors and a sophisticated marble-clad bathroom.
The winner and their guest will be served a five-course supper at TĪNG Restaurant as part of the prize. Dine on duck-liver ballotine with rhubarb, gingerbread and green tea or sea trout with fennel, grapefruit and avocado against a stunning 360-degree city backdrop. A round of drinks at GŌNG Bar (the highest in London) is included, so creative cocktails can be sipped on floor 52. During the stay, there will also be full access to the hotel’s pool and gym.
