Cape Town hotel offers self-isolation rooms

The Mother City’s very own Double Tree by Hilton Hotel is offering those returning from international travel a comfortable place for self-quarantine.

It can be difficult for travellers returning from trips abroad to find a place to self-quarantine, often because they have family at home that could be in danger of getting the virus if they happened to catch it while travelling.

Owner of the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, Quintin Rossi says new quarantine units in the hotel will offer the perfect environment for a comfortable and well-equipped stay, complete with special hygiene hampers and all the luxuries a visitor would experience at home.

On top of this offering, a dedicated concierge service will see to the requests of guests ensuring that strict health and safety protocols are adhered to.

“We are very well equipped to handle it in a way that protects the safety and the health of everyone involved in the value proposition,” said Rossi to CapeTalk.

  • New Reservations. Any reservation you make – even those described as “non-cancellable” (“Advanced Purchase”) – that are booked between today and April 30, 2020 for any future arrival date, can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.
