The Good Spa Guide has unveiled the results of its 11th annual awards on 2nd August at Spa Life UK’s annual two-day conference in Bedfordshire, UK.
Following another challenging year of uncertainty, the awards are designed to celebrate the very best in spa excellence across the UK.
New to the Good Spa Guide Awards, this year’s ceremony included the category for the Best Coastal Spa for the first time.

“Thank you to all the spa winners and finalists who have gone above and beyond to keep clients safe and supported during their wellbeing journeys in the most difficult of circumstances – they all deserve a huge amount of praise,” said Caitlin Dalton, Good Spa Guide editor-in-chief.
“After the past 16 months, it seems people can’t wait to get back to their much-loved spas and finally unwind. We saw a huge boom in spa staycations bookings – notably from the countryside and coastal spa sector – and want to celebrate these categories in particular.”
The national awards were decided upon by specially-appointed Good Spa Spies, who’ve been reviewing more than 100 spas each year for the past 16 years.
They combine their first-hand experience with the Bubble Rating and their unique algorithm to determine the winners.
