Look forward to huge performances by top chefs and special restaurant menus when the Singapore Food Festival 2024 comes to town next month.
The country’s biggest annual celebration of food takes place from 1 to 31 October with local dishes, contemporary cuisine, and cocktails.
While the popular festival village will not return this year, the festivities will be spread over 20 events from grand spectacles to intimate dining sessions.
Leading the Singapore Food Festival 2024 are three Signature Events, which are large-scale immersive experiences held at iconic venues. At Future Food on 10 October, Emmanuel Stroobant of the two-Michelin-starred Saint Pierre, Hafizzul Hashim of Restaurant Fiz, and Restaurant Born‘s Zor Tan will be at Marquee Singapore to imagine what dining could be like in the next generation.
On 17 and 18 October, The Long Table at Chijmes Hall is a four-course lunch and six-course dinner served by Rempapa‘s Damian D’Silva, Marvas Ng of Path, and award-winning pastry chef Cheryl Koh amid a ballet recital.
On 19 October, celebrated chocolatier Janice Wong will be at Digital Light Canvas by Teamlab to showcase intricate chocolate sculptures that blur the line between food and art.
Restaurants and bars around the island will be hosting Unique Events. Establishments including Level33, Yantra, Cenzo, and Atlas will be offering Singapore Food Festival 2024 menus that cover Indian, Chinese, Malay, and international cuisines. Entertainment will also occur at many of these venues.
Diners can expect an eight-course meal with a Chinese tea ceremony and dance performances at Path. Singapore-born, Dubai-based chef Akmal Anuar and his mother will cook a four-course Malay feast at Harummanis. Firangi Superstar chef Raj Kumar will evoke the Indian epic, “The Ramayana” with duck magret takaki and chocolate burfi, while Jiak Kim House will present modern Singapore cuisine backed by Chinese opera.

Throughout the month, the Singapore Food Festival 2024 will also have pop-up events. Set to happen at Marina Bay Sands and select Capitaland malls, these activations will feature food carts serving bite-sized samples from renowned chefs. Tickets and reservations are not required.
