The Rapska Fjera, Croatia’s oldest and largest medieval summer festival, is held annually in the town of Rab on the island of Rab. In 2025, the festival will take place from July 25 to July 27, aligning with the feast days of St. James (July 25), St. Anne (July 26), and St. Christopher (July 27).
During this three-day event, Rab transforms into a vibrant medieval town, featuring over 700 costumed participants and more than 100 workshops. Visitors can experience traditional crafts, knight tournaments, processions, and sample local delicacies like the Rab Cake. The festival culminates on July 27 with the Rab Crossbowmen’s tournament, honoring St. Christopher, the town’s patron saint .
